Beach Trip 2011 Holden Beach

Hi, everyone we are back. I've yet to get our dog but we'll be picking her up today after my DH gets off work.
Anyways, we had a fun trip.  The girls were really good both there and back.  It's a four hour drive so that's really good for a four year old and a 17 month old. Here are some pictures of our visit.
Lexi on the way. She didn't sleep at all.

Mary had a nice nap on the way.

Still very happy when she woke up.

We took a little detour, not on purpose, to SC.

We got there a little later than we wanted to but it was all ok.

This is Mary playing in the sand.

Packing, Packing and more Packing.

Just to let my people know that we are heading to the beach today so I'll be posting some pictures when we return.  I hope everyone has a good time while we are gone.  I hope WE have a good time while we are gone.
This message is for Peppermint, my loving little dog, BE Nice to Milo and don't dig too much. We love you and will see you before you know it.

Busy, Nauseous, and Pregnant again!

Yeah you heard right. I'm pregnant again with my third child. I hope it's a boy. I'm seriously thinking about getting fixed. LOL. As you all know I've got two beautiful, funny little girls.
Oh did I mention one crazy husband. LOL. He's probably going to kill me for posting this pic. but he knew if someone took it, it would wind up on the net some how. LOL. My aunt Lynda made these Mohawk hats.  They are too cute. I've got the pattern and plan on making one for a boy scout who moved to Kentucky recently. We'll miss him so much. He added a lot to our troop.  Hopefully he'll be back to visit soon.
Here are some other pictures from Sunday.

Modeling hat again.
I'm a currently working on some more socks and a fuzzy scarf for Lexi.  I'll have to post picture of the WIPs.
Oh we will be going the beach soon so I'll have pictures to post of that as well when we get back.

As for being pregnant, I'm about 8 weeks along. I've been living off of soda crackers for about 3 weeks now and I believe I'm seeing the light at the end of the yucky tunnel.  LOL.

I was so happy yesterday because I could eat real food. IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOD!
Lexi is editing my work as we speak. She's correcting my spelling. LOL. She's four.
Well, I'm going to go for now. I hope you all have a wonderful Monday.

A Few New Things

I know it's been a while since my last post.  There's been a lot going on.  Lexi caught her first fish when we went camping with the scouts a while back. My DH is the scout Master of troop 404 so we get to go on the camping trips. Here a pic of her first fish. AKA: the cutest fish in the world.
I also have a few projects that I finished.
Here is the sock I finished using magic loop. I'm working on the mate as we speak.

I also finished the baby sweater I was working on. Remember the booties and pixie hat I knitted up a while back well here they are and the sweater that goes with them. Modeled by my DD Mary.

I also have some pictures of Mary modeling my latest granny square.

She just loves yarn.  I went to Ben Franklin's (one of my favorite craft stores).  Which they should be opening a store called Joanne's around June 24 or 26th in Mooresville.  I heard from a reliable source that it's suppose to be good too.
Anyways, we bought some yarn for an afghan I'm crocheting.  I'll post some pics of the squares later.
She held the yarn all the way to the store and wouldn't let the lady scan the ones she had.  Then we went to Cici's afterwards and she played the skein the whole time we were waiting on food.
Lexi in cowboy ( I mean) cowgirl boots and a dress.
She gets upset when you call them cowboy boots.

Some pictures of my Shamrock plant before the spiders got to it.  It's not near as pretty right now.  I've gotten rid of the spiders but it'll need a little work.

Pictures of me in a new outfit that my DH got me.  We are in the process of getting rid of my 'slumming clothes' as he puts it and getting me some feel good clothes.
I am still going to zumba twice a week and still loving every minute of it.
Well, that's all for right now.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
