I took this picture of my youngest DD, Mary, and I thought it was pretty good. I also got some shots of the birds visiting my feeder this morning.
Here is a scarf that I'm working on.
I'm sorry that the pictures aren't that good. I'm working with a camera with a broken flash.
Hope to have some more pictures soon.
Happy Wednesday!
I'm a stay at home mom of 3 girls. My husband and I reside on a working organic dairy farm. I knit, crochet, and spin yarn. This blog is about everything I love. I hope you enjoy it.

Bird Sighting
Hello Everybody,
This past weekend has been great. The weather has been so awesome. I'm so ready for spring. My DH and I went and got stuff to put up a new fence for the kids, we disked and tilled the garden. So for the next couple of weeks I'll be setting out seeds in trays to start for our garden this year. Last year I was pregnant and I did have a garden. This year I'll have one. He's also putting up a fence around it so that we can keep out the peacocks.
The farm is covered in them.
This is our garden a few years ago.
I had planted spinach and radishes but the peacocks came and ate every sprout that came up.
So this year I'll have a fence.
I got a couple bird feeders too. This morning I saw some American Golden Finches on it enjoy the thistle seed. I can't wait until I see more. Here is a picture of one so you know what I'm talking about. Note: I didn't take this pic.
It is a female. I was too just like it on the feeder this morning. I was so excited.
This is the male. I've not seen one yet but I hope too.
Well, hope everyone has a Happy Monday!

What Happened to the Week?
Hey does anybody feel like this week has just zoomed right past us. I do it's kinda like wow! My wedding anniversary was Monday. We actually celebrated it on Saturday with an evening out. Then he had roses delivered Sunday morning. He also got Lexi some roses for Valentine's Day. She loved it.
Here are some pictures!
The pink ones are mine and the ones that Lexi is holding are hers and Mary's.

I'm Back!
What's happening? My internet was done for a while then life with kids happened and I've not been on for a while. I finished another sock this time it was a pattern that I came up with but I think it went wrong somewhere in the end because it came out sorta weird. It at least looked like human foot but it doesn't fit. I'll keep trying. I went to the library yesterday and got some more books on knitting. Lexi picked out a lot for herself. I also got some different types for yarn too. I got some bulky yarn, worsted, and sock weight yarn. I've started more socks but I'll be following some direction this time.
Our two year anniversary is coming up and we've got a date planned. We are suppose to go to Jay Jay Wasabi's in Mooresville. I'll let you know how everything goes. Well, I'll post more later. Have a happy day!
