A Few New Things

I know it's been a while since my last post.  There's been a lot going on.  Lexi caught her first fish when we went camping with the scouts a while back. My DH is the scout Master of troop 404 so we get to go on the camping trips. Here a pic of her first fish. AKA: the cutest fish in the world.
I also have a few projects that I finished.
Here is the sock I finished using magic loop. I'm working on the mate as we speak.

I also finished the baby sweater I was working on. Remember the booties and pixie hat I knitted up a while back well here they are and the sweater that goes with them. Modeled by my DD Mary.

I also have some pictures of Mary modeling my latest granny square.

She just loves yarn.  I went to Ben Franklin's (one of my favorite craft stores).  Which they should be opening a store called Joanne's around June 24 or 26th in Mooresville.  I heard from a reliable source that it's suppose to be good too.
Anyways, we bought some yarn for an afghan I'm crocheting.  I'll post some pics of the squares later.
She held the yarn all the way to the store and wouldn't let the lady scan the ones she had.  Then we went to Cici's afterwards and she played the skein the whole time we were waiting on food.
Lexi in cowboy ( I mean) cowgirl boots and a dress.
She gets upset when you call them cowboy boots.

Some pictures of my Shamrock plant before the spiders got to it.  It's not near as pretty right now.  I've gotten rid of the spiders but it'll need a little work.

Pictures of me in a new outfit that my DH got me.  We are in the process of getting rid of my 'slumming clothes' as he puts it and getting me some feel good clothes.
I am still going to zumba twice a week and still loving every minute of it.
Well, that's all for right now.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Mother's Day

I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day.  Ours was really good.  We went with my mom and Nana to Romano's for lunch.  You can visit my mom's site for pictures.  I forgot my camera as usual. Here her site link.
Rabbit's Garden
We went bowling in Mooresville.  Which was more expensive than I thought it would be but we had a good time.  I got two strikes in a row on the second game.  Lexi had a blast. We set it up so that the bumpers would pop up for her turn.  That keeps the ball from going into the gutter.  Mary just enjoyed all the bright colored balls crashing down the lanes.  She was looking all over the place.  She wanted to bowl like sissy but not for a couple of years yet.
All in all it was a pretty good day.
What did you do for Mother's Day?

Bad News About a Sock

I was making another sock to match the other.  Last night my four year old decided that she was going to knit or something and pull out the needles.  Unfortunately I couldn't pick up the stitches and I had the heel done and was fixing to turn the heel when it happened.  So yeah, major disappointment.  I don't know if I'll start it again today or not.  I may just keep working on the little sweater.  Plus I've got some many other projects it's not even funny. I've got Zumba tonight so hopefully I'll get to burn off me than just steam. LOL. I hope everyone has a happy Tuesday.

Date Night

Sorry, I meant to post this last night.  My DH and I went out for the a couple of hours.  It was really nice.  Seeing how we've not been out since our anniversary Feb. I was a much needed rest.  Plus Granny got to spend some time with the babies.  We went and seen Arthur. It was a really good movie.  Although I did cry through like the last half of the movie.  It does have a really good ending too.  It was a little racy as far as language goes but like I said other than that it's a really good.

All in all we had a really good time.  We also stopped by to see Speedy on the way in.  Which is my DH's brother who just go back from Afghanistan.  It's good to have him home. God is good.  I hope everyone has a blessed day.
